Celebrate World Collage Day with this collection of house-shaped collages!
In early 2022, everydaypaper, artist Kelly Schaub, and Collage-Lab.com announced an International Call for Collage Art for World Collage Day 2022. Artists from around the world submitted collages in the shape of a simple house. Forty artists were selected to be featured in the book. Additionally, selected artists will be featured in an online art exhibit, coinciding with World Collage Day, May 14, 2022.
I dedicate this collection to collage artists everywhere. What a joy it has been to get to know you (virtually) as we cut and pasted our way through a global pandemic and so many other international events. The diversity reflected in these collages is a microcosm of our world today. Artists took on this challenge with a wide range of interpretations of house and home. Mostly, we recognized the importance of home – a place where we can cut and paste, gather with family and friends, collect memories, and, sometimes, even change the world!
