I’m very excited to share this next 6 week Zoom class with you.
Turn your passion into profit. Learn how to self-publish and market your original collage artwork on a range of merchandise, from prints to products.
This 6 week Intensive meets on Zoom starting Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm Central (Chicago) time. Replays will be available in your Course Library.
This hands-on intensive will give you the skills and tools you need to create print-on-demand products with your own artwork. You will be able to self-publish a book full of your collages and put your images onto t-shirts, coffee mugs, prints, and a whole host of hot merchandise. Technical lessons will enhance your ability to understand image files, formats, and printer specifications.
If you want to get prepared before our first meeting, there are 3 things you can get set up in advance:
1) Sign up for a FREE Canva account at canva.com – if you need the pro features, you can upgrade, and I believe they offer a 30 day trial on the Pro Plan, which is currently $14.99/month. Don’t sign up for the trial just yet – get to know the software using the free account.
2) Sign up for a FREE KDP account. KDP is Amazon’s print-on-demand publishing program. It is free to register and free to publish. Go to kdp.amazon.com and click on “Join KDP” – you can sign up with your existing amazon account. (If you already have a KDP account – previously known as Createspace – do NOT create a second account – this is against Amazon terms and conditions.)
3) Sign up for a FREE Redbubble account. Go to redbubble.com and click Sign Up – choose the Artist Signup option.
I’ll introduce you to other tools and platforms, but these 3 are free, and if you can grasp the steps on these platforms, you will easily be able to work with other publishers and POD companies.
